TallyAI (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your personal and financial privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our data practices for the TallyAI mobile application (the “App”).

Unlike traditional financial applications, TallyAI is built on a foundation of absolute data isolation. We do not collect, store, share, or transmit your personal data, financial transactions, or receipt images.

1. 100% On-Device Local Processing

TallyAI utilizes localized artificial intelligence models and on-device text recognition frameworks to process, itemize, and categorize your receipts.

  • No Cloud Dependency: All processing, Vision OCR extraction, and Large Language Model (VLM) inference happen entirely on your physical device.
  • No External Servers: Your data is never sent over the internet to external data centers, third-party APIs, or cloud servers for processing.

2. Data Storage and Control

  • Local Databases:All financial data, receipt metadata, itemizations, and categories generated by the App are stored securely within your device’s local sandboxed storage using Apple’s native data persistence layers.
  • Complete User Control: We have no access to your stored financial information. If you delete the App from your device, all locally stored TallyAI database records are permanently deleted instantly.

3. Third-Party Services & Analytics

  • Zero Tracker Policy: The App does not contain third-party advertising frameworks, user-tracking SDKs, or behavioral analytics software. Your spending habits remain entirely anonymous.

4. Children’s Privacy

Because the App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data from any user, it does not knowingly or structurally collect information from children under the age of 13.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect local feature enhancements. Any updates will be posted directly on this page with an updated effective date.
